On July 4, Alpine Mountain Ranch and Alpine Master Builders celebrated the spirit of community during the Steamboat Springs Independence Day Parade. Against the backdrop of downtown Steamboat Springs, thousands of spectators were treated to a covered wagon float that celebrated the history and natural beauty of the Ranch. Alpine Mountain Ranch’s Suzanne Schlicht and Bob Dapper led the float riding Joaker and Cinco. The event offered a glimpse into the unique lifestyle at Alpine Mountain Ranch, where stunning homes meet breathtaking landscapes.
An Enchanting Evening at Lonecast Lake with Jason Vieaux and Verne Lundquist
In early July, guests at Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club were treated to an unforgettable evening of music, conversation, and camaraderie. Grammy Award-winning classical guitarist Jason Vieaux delivered a breathtaking performance lakeside at Lonecast Lake, captivating the audience with his world-renowned artistry. The event was made even more special by an engaging interview with Vieaux conducted by legendary sportscaster Verne Lundquist, who recently celebrated his retirement. Lundquist’s warm and insightful conversation offered a unique perspective on the life and craft of one of the world’s finest musicians, adding a personal touch to the evening. Hosted exclusively for Ranch owners and friends, the concert reflected the community’s commitment to fostering meaningful connections and celebrating its remarkable surroundings. As a proud sponsor of this year’s Yampa Valley Balloon Rodeo, Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club once again hosted a captivating kickoff event in July. Balloon pilots, their families and crew members, as well as event sponsors, gathered at the Ranch to celebrate the start of the beloved festival. The evening offered Alpine Mountain Ranch owners a chance to connect, share camaraderie, and forge new friendships, all while enjoying the stunning natural beauty of the ranch. A highlight of the night was the enchanting hot air balloon “glow” at dusk, where the illuminated balloons cast a magical light against the breathtaking backdrop of the ranch’s rolling hills and mountain views. This unforgettable event perfectly embodied the spirit of community and celebration that defines Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club, creating cherished memories for all who attended.

Alpine Mountain Ranch proudly took part in the October Steamboat Food & Wine Festival, hosting three sold-out signature events that captured the essence of fine dining and natural beauty. Two exclusive dinners, curated by James Beard award- winning chefs, delighted guests with exceptional cuisine paired with distinguished wines, creating unforgettable culinary experiences. The “Colorado Whiskey in the Wild” event added a touch of adventure, inviting participants on a scenic hike to the ranch’s secluded Hermitage cabin. Surrounded by stunning fall foliage, guests savored premium Colorado whiskey and soaked in the serene beauty of the backcountry. The events highlighted Alpine Mountain Ranch’s unique blend of luxury, nature, and community spirit.
A Community of STARS
In September, the Alpine Mountain Ranch community came together for the STARS Farm to Barn fundraiser, a celebration of resilience and generosity. Among the evening’s highlights was veteran Michael Murphy sharing his journey of recovery following a traumatic brain injury and significant vision loss during his Army service. Through STARS adaptive sports camps in Steamboat Springs, Michael rediscovered independence and joy, tackling challenges like snowboarding with determination and support. His story embodied the transformative power of STARS, inspiring all in attendance. Alpine Mountain Ranch guests contributed over $150,000, a testament to their shared commitment to making a difference. To our owners, the event was more than a fundraiser—it was a celebration of hope and human connection.
